One of the great privileges of the Christian life is prayer. As Christians, we have the opportunity to come to God so that we might delight in him, open our hearts to him, and hear his voice. However, many Christians find prayer difficult, and they’re not sure where to begin. As a church, we’re providing some possible daily rhythms so that we might experience more prayer in the coming months as individual Christians and as a community.
Consider joining us in prayer in the following ways...
Morning Prayer:
• Use the Lord’s Prayer (Mt. 6:5-14). You could offer the words of the prayer to God as they’re written, or you could use this prayer that Jesus gave us as a template for your own prayer.

• Pray a Psalm each morning. For thousands of years, God’s people have learned to pray by using the Psalms as their own prayers.
• Look ahead to the coming day and ask for God’s presence, wisdom, and power in light of what is ahead.
Afternoon Prayer:
• Pray for those around you (by name) who don’t know Jesus.
• Pray for the various church plants and missionaries we support.
• Pray that God will give you opportunities to advance the gospel in our community.
Evening Prayer:
• What are you thankful for today?
• Praise God for these good gifts he’s given you.
• Spend some time resting in God’s love for you.
