I willingly enter into Covenant Membership with City of God Church. By signing the Membership Covenant, I affirm that, by the grace of God, I meet the requirements for membership at City of God and I agree with the church's membership expectations. By the power and grace of the Holy Spirit, I aim to live in accordance with these expectations.

In addition, I have read the doctrinal statement of City of God Church, and I understand that while complete agreement is not required concerning the doctrinal statement, I covenant to pursue and guard unity within the church and will not be divisive over the particular theological distinctives found in that statement.

I commit to attending worship services regularly at City of God Church for corporate praise and prayer with our body.

I commit to regularly attending City of God's member’s meetings and taking part in church matters and decisions.

I commit to practicing communion regularly. This is not just the physical partaking of the Lord’s supper on Sunday, but also the advised examination of one’s relationship with God and others before doing so.

I commit to regular, sacrificial giving to the church to meet the needs of others and fuel the mission of the church locally and beyond.

I commit to praying regularly for City of God Church--its leaders, people, and mission.

I commit to pursuing harmony and peace among the church regarding doctrine. While there’s room for disagreement between members and the church’s statement of faith, it is expected that differences will not lead to division.
